Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Overview

Odd Theory Labs provides professional services (marketing, creative, digital, technology, and execution) rather than physical products. This policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for our service engagements.

2. Project Cancellation by Client

Clients may request cancellation of an ongoing engagement in writing at any time. Fees for work already completed, deliverables already produced, and any third-party or pass-through costs already incurred (ad spend, licensing, government fees) up to the date of cancellation are non-refundable and remain payable.

3. Advance Payments

Advance payments made to reserve project slots, begin strategy or discovery work, or commence production are non-refundable once work has started, as they cover time and resources already allocated to the engagement.

4. Retainer and Monthly Services

For ongoing monthly retainers (social media management, performance marketing, etc.), cancellation requires written notice as specified in the service agreement (typically 30 days). Fees for the current billing cycle are non-refundable; no further charges apply after the notice period ends.

5. Refunds

Refunds are considered only in cases where Odd Theory Labs is unable to deliver a contracted service and no substantial work has been performed. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days. Ad spend already deployed on advertising platforms (Meta, Google, etc.) is non-refundable regardless of campaign outcome, as this is paid directly to the platform.

How refunds are paid. An approved refund goes back to the same method used to pay: the same card, bank account, UPI ID or wallet. Refunds of online payments are issued through Razorpay and usually reach you within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank.

International payments. Refunds are made in the currency of the original invoice. Exchange-rate differences between the payment date and the refund date, and any fees charged by your bank or card issuer, are not refundable by us. 6. Project Changes and Scope Revisions

Changes to project scope after work has begun may affect timelines and cost. Any additional cost from scope changes will be communicated and agreed before proceeding.

7. Cancellation by Odd Theory Labs

We reserve the right to pause or cancel an engagement in case of non-payment, breach of agreed terms, or provision of misleading information by the client. In such cases, fees for work completed remain payable and no refund is issued for that portion.
